From the blockbuster of 1959, award-winning with 11 Oscars, to the 2016 remake version, the chariots race remain one of the most legendary cinema scenes: every 30' from the village you will discover the original set and the spectacular Arena of the Circus of Maxentius.

The Ben-Hur Arena has been chosen as the location to make the new American TV series Those About to Die, set in the age of gladiators, produced by Peacock starring Anthony Hopkins and directed by the director of Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow Roland Emmerich. For the occasion, the Ben-Hur Arena was transformed into the Circus Maximus.
